Not sure why this has received the bad reviews. Its gorgeous! The pattern is bright and cheerful - it almost makes me want to do my ironing! No problems fitting it onto my ironing board. It has a drawstring to pull it tight and secure it in place which is perfectly adequate. No complaints here!
No straps for fitting, drawstring useless, as it slips through the "lock" Very disappointed as it is un-useable like this ☹️
We sell ironing board cover clips, ref 22615 or you could try a smaller cover to better fit your ironing board.
I have been buying ironing board covers from Lakeland ever since I brought the ironing board there which must be 18 years ago and was very disappointed to find this latest cover not only to be such good quality but that it no longer had the velcro strips to hold it nice and firmly in place. Fitting it was a nightmare for me so I resorted to taking the velcro off the old one to sew on the new one.
