Colourful cover which fitted our ironing board nicely. Easy to adjust with nylon draw strings but never sure how to dispose of the excess.The lady who does our ironing is well pleased!
This ironing board cover is really good quality and helps the iron to glide over the clothes. I would have given it 5 stars but it could be wider as it only has a small amount of clearance on each side of my standard ironing board.
Been buying this Lakeland ironing board cover for years in various patterns. Customers should be aware that in this new pattern the fabric has been cut a bit shorter all over meaning the fit isn't as good. There are no velcro straps in this new specification either which contributes to the poorer fit. It means the long edges of the cover ride up if you are ironing something large or long where you have to move the garment / sheet across the ironing board to iron the whole item. It's very irritating so I may end up sewing velcro onto the cover to stop this happening.
