8 Dolly Washing Balls with Cotton Bag

Small yet mighty, these Dolly Washing Balls roll around in your washing machine to double its cleaning power. Their movement creates more foam and bubbles for a more efficient wash, while their rounded spikes agitate the dirt out of fabrics – which means you’ll be able to use up to 50% less detergent for each load, while still getting the same results as using a full dose of detergent alone – and halving the amount of washing powder you need to use can only be a good thing for both the environment and your purse.
They can be used again and again in cycles up to 60°C – use all eight of them at once for the best results – and are safe to use with detergents, fabric conditioners and bleach. And on those welcome days when there isn’t any washing to do (is such a thing possible?!), you can stash them safely in their cotton bag.

I have been using the dolly washing balls for two weeks. I used slightly less liquid detergent in each wash but still had plenty of soap suds. The whites washing came out cleaner and spun drier than usual.
I used to have the older version of these, but these are better, smaller, less noisy. I have bought two lots as when you take the washing out you lose some in clothing - eventually to turn up again, but easier to have 2 packs. Love the little bag to hang up by the washer, but always use 8 balls in every wash, so eight permanently in the machine. Haven’t noticed as many stains on my husbands t shirts (grease) - but mainly bought as we have lots of body warmers that go flat without these balls. These puff the stuffing up again.
Great addition to cleaning your clothes.
I already use a version of these in my tumble dryer so I know they work. Love these, it means I’m doing a little bit to use less detergent. The only problem is they are so small, I always end up hunting for at least one to put back into the drum, they easily get caught up in pockets or sleeves. The bright colours help with finding them!
