8 Dolly Washing Balls with Cotton Bag

Small yet mighty, these Dolly Washing Balls roll around in your washing machine to double its cleaning power. Their movement creates more foam and bubbles for a more efficient wash, while their rounded spikes agitate the dirt out of fabrics – which means you’ll be able to use up to 50% less detergent for each load, while still getting the same results as using a full dose of detergent alone – and halving the amount of washing powder you need to use can only be a good thing for both the environment and your purse.
They can be used again and again in cycles up to 60°C – use all eight of them at once for the best results – and are safe to use with detergents, fabric conditioners and bleach. And on those welcome days when there isn’t any washing to do (is such a thing possible?!), you can stash them safely in their cotton bag.

Have used these before but after many years of use, they needed replacing. These are a different design & seem better. Planning to buy a second pack sometime, so i don't have to so searching for them before putting the next load in.

I already use a version of these in my tumble dryer so I know they work. Love these, it means I’m doing a little bit to use less detergent. The only problem is they are so small, I always end up hunting for at least one to put back into the drum, they easily get caught up in pockets or sleeves. The bright colours help with finding them!

Sadly, these made no difference whatsoever to my laundry. I put less detergent in on the first use and found it inadequate to clean the laundry so put my normal amount in on the second use… but the outcome was no better than detergent alone. Great idea in theory, such a shame they don’t work.
