Wick-Away Peg Bag

This was a fabulous peg bag for about 12 months. After that the handle broke and despite trying I wasn’t able to repair it. It’s made of some sort of fragile webbing strap and once it starts to disintegrate it happens along it’s length and pinning or sewing it just causes further disintegration. I never left it outside so it’s not caused by the elements and I only ever used it for it’s intended purpose so it would seem to be a design flaw . I expect better of Lakeland.

I find this an excellent product for carrying other things like cleaning materials around the house - an extra pocket!

The design of this works brilliantly but I’ve found the same fault as other reviewers - the strap disintegrates. I’m thinking of replacing it with some webbing if I can find a suitable width.

Second one I’ve had. Great bag and great to wear it while hanging washing out. BUT, this is the second one I’ve had and the handle has just broken on this one too. I stitched it (make do and mend!) but because of the material of the handle the stitches just pull through and won’t hold. Not sure if I will risk another one because it seems to be a design problem.

I've just been on line to look at the reviews about this peg bag and totally agree with one of your customers who says that the bag is great but....I too have had problems with the handle just disintegrating... this is the second one I have had and now the strap has broken again. I love the design but please make the strap more durable ! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts !
