Fridja High Pressure Clothes Steamer f1500
Product number: 53262
Forget spending hours slaving over an ironing board, positioning garments this way and that in the struggle to get bothersome creases out: the Fridja Garment Steamer makes creases disappear in a matter of seconds, and with minimal effort. Armed with a 3.8 litre water tank, impressively powerful 5-bar steam pressure and a range of clever accessories, it lets you plough through your laundry pile faster than ever before. And with wheels on the base, your super-steam station is ready to go wherever you need it.
What’s in the box?
- 3.8 litre water tank and steamer head with stainless steel soleplate.
- Vertical fabric ironing ‘board’.
- Folding clothes hanger with pegs.
- Heat protection glove – lets you hold a garment taut to remove creases even faster.
- Upholstery brush – get curtains wrinkle-free without the effort of removing them first; it’s great for freshening up bedding and soft furnishings too.
- Collar press and cuff attachment – for crisply finished shirt points, slide this shaped collar press under the points of the buttoned collar and press the steamer head down against it for a pristine finish.
- Delicate fabric guard – with its double layer of protective mesh, delicate fabrics are protected, so you can get the wrinkles out of that impossible-to-iron beaded top, and even the most precious garments like wedding dresses and saved-for-best-suits.
Powerful steam pressure
The most powerful domestic steamer you can buy, we were genuinely mesmerised when first saw this product in use. Our colleague Claire eagerly leapt up to have a go, and we all watched as the creases disappeared when she ran the steamer down the shirt – and what an unbelievable amount of steam! What made the shirt’s transformation all the more impressive is that it has been previously tied in a tight knot to make removing the wrinkles even more of a challenge… It took less than a minute to remove every unwanted line and transform a very creased shirt into a perfectly smooth specimen ready for the office. Needless to say, we were impressed! And we’re sure you will be too.
Saves so much time
How long does it usually take you to iron a shirt? Once you’ve got the hang of it, a shirt can be transformed from crumpled to crease-free in about 60 seconds, and less tricky garments can be done in a flash. It makes a usually slavish chore a much speedier, satisfying task.
Easy to use
Fill up the water tank, press the power button and a blue light will indicate that it has started to heat up. Wait for 2 minutes for the gauge to reach 5 bars of pressure, then it’s time to get steamy. Pop your garment onto the hanger or clip and, wearing the protective glove, hold the material taut. Hold the steamer close to the garment, moving it around and pressing the trigger for quick, short bursts of steam… and watch those creases disappear! If there are any stubborn creases, press the stainless steel soleplate against the garment and ‘iron’ against the horizontal board, releasing more steam if necessary.
Descaling mode
It’s recommended that you descale the steamer every two months to maintain optimum performance, and it couldn’t be easier to do. Simply fill the water tank, press the descaling button, hold the steam head over a sink and press the trigger, releasing water until it runs clear. Once you’re done, switch off descaling mode, and in a mere minute your steamer will be ready to be put to work again.
