Lakeland Trainers Washing Bag

This wash bag makes such a big difference to the noise when washing trainers in the washing machine.

I'd previously used an old pillow case to wash trainers in my machines, but thought I'd treat myself to this handy bag instead. I thought the quality felt good, it seemed more padded, with a designated divide in it to help cut down on some of the noise you get from the trainers rattling around in the washer while being washed. It was a great improvement on the pillow case and I think if looked after will last a long time which makes the price more reasonable.

Used this to wash converse trainers, the pockets inside kept each trainer separate, the padding is really good too. Our washing machine is a large drum machine so plenty of room to throw the trainers around but I was really surprised how quietly they washed due the bag being so padded. The bag dried well on the line and my trainers look good as new now. Really pleased.

Needed a new trainer washing bag and this is a good replacement.

Initially, I thought this would be a great way to wash my trainers. Whilst the padding is good to stop them banging around in the washer, the material is so padded, I don't think the trainers are actually getting clean through the thick mesh! I've washed them before in a pillow case and they were much cleaner. Disappointed.
