Good quality and lovely design. It fitted my ironing board pretty well but could really do with straps to be able to pull it tight underneath. The drawstring fastener just doesn’t tighten it up sufficiently. I have a Lakeland cover which is a much better fit and in my opinion slightly better quality.
This arrived today but sadly I can only give 1 star. the thickness of cover won't allow it to fold the excess thickness under the nose easily and pulling really hard on the strings I still can't pull in the back 2/3rds in so the back end just sits on the top loose. my board is 132 x 47cm which it states is correct. Also, where it was folded for packaging it has left deep creases that due to thickness of foam has left 2 hard ridges across the board. I don't know if they would iron out but as the fit is of no use I shall have to donate to the charity shop and find another that does fit.
The thickness of the cover is due to the 5 layers including the aluminium core which reflect the heat, making ironing easier, but we're sorry this wasn't as you expected.
This cover was hard to fit & was loose & bulky. The worse thing is it holds on to the water from my steam generator iron. Which at first I thought was good no wet floor, but When the board was put away the water ran to the end of the board and dripped on the floor. The cover was still soaking wet when I went to use it the next day.
