Classic Concertina Indoor Clothes Airer Extra Wide

This product is excellent. It’s well made, and sturdy enough to hold a full wash load. The bars are smooth so they won’t snag any clothes. I highly recommend it.

I’ve had this airer for a month now and am really pleased with it. I was worried it was going to be really heavy but it is actually lighter than the plastic one I previously had. It is a little tricky to put up until you get the hang of it. Holds plenty of washing, easy to hang king size duvet cover and sheets. Wish I had invested in one of these a long time ago!

I love mine! Loads of space for hanging. I leave it up and swap wet for dry clothes on an almost daily basis!

The good features of this is that its wide. It holds a lot a clothes even large pieces. The rails are really good and don't leave line marks. There are plenty of rails. It stores with a small footprint and neatly. The downside is the wooden frame. Its quite rough, 2 splinters so far. Its not rubbed down properly or varnished and the clip on the bottom is so tight that I am sure it will break soon. I am sure it must be possible to make this item which is reasonably expensive with a more durable coated or sanded and varnished frame

I chose this airer although I felt it was expensive as Lakeland products are usually of a higher quality. I was extremely disappointed by the finish. I got a splinter and also pulled the thread on a new top due to the wood being so rough and not finished properly. So disappointed, not just in the product but in the fact that Lakeland are selling a product of this poor quality.
