Smooth-glide ceramic Durilium soleplate

The Durilium ceramic soleplate glides effortlessly without any pulls or drags; in fact, it gives 33% more glideability than some of Tefal’s other fantastic soleplates. There are loads of active steam holes so you see results quickly, and a special Airglide Autoclean catalytic coating keeps the plate free of sticky stains and in prime condition.

Collecting up to 10 times more limescale particles than a filter in a standard iron, the anti-calc filter will keep you powering through your laundry every time with no loss of steam performance.

Thanks to its combination of high-pressure steam and high temperature, the efficient Pro Express sanitizes as it irons, killing up to 99.99% of germs and bacteria in the process.

Auto shut-off feature

It happens – you go to make a cup of tea mid-ironing pile and, before you know it, something else distracts you and it’s been 10 minutes since you wandered away from the iron… For peace of mind and extra safety, the iron will turn itself off after 8 minutes if left unused.
