There’s nothing more frustrating than an iron cord that gets in the way, or – even worse – one that isn’t long enough to reach to the end of the board. Tefal have solved the problem with their Freemove Air Iron, removing the cord so you can zip through your ironing without getting your t-shirts and trousers in a tangle.
No cord, no problem
The days of fighting with the flex as you get into tricky corners of your garments are now over! Designed so you can iron with complete freedom of movement, this ultra-manoeuvrable iron has no cord to hold you back, so there’s no risk of that pesky flex creasing up the part of the shirt you’ve just ironed.
Lightweight
To make it even more agile and hassle-free, Tefal have made this their lightest cordless iron yet. Good news if you have a huge ironing mountain to scale, and it also makes it a lot easier to steam iron vertically, whether for curtains or suits on hangers.
Rapid recharging base
If there’s no cord, where does the power come from? Well, the Freemove has a recharging base to rest your iron on when you put it down between garments – as soon as you pop it onto the base it starts to recharge and is ready to go again in just 11 seconds.
Every charge gives you 25 seconds of ironing time – more than enough to thoroughly iron one side of a shirt before you need to shuffle it around to do the next bit. A built-in smart light tells you exactly when you need to recharge so you’ll always be working at full power.
Super-smooth ceramic soleplate
A non-stick ceramic coating ensures the base glides over all fabrics without any risk of dragging or pulling.
Protection against limescale
Tefal’s exclusive, easy-to-clean scale collector protects against the build-up of limescale particles, maintaining durable steam performance for the life of the iron.
Auto shut-off feature
It happens – you go to make a cup of tea mid-ironing pile and, before you know it, something else distracts you and it’s been 10 minutes since you wandered away from the iron… For peace of mind and extra safety, the iron will turn itself off after 8 minutes if left on its base; to restart, just lift it from the base and pop it back on to recharge.
Anti-drip protection
The anti-drip feature prevents those annoying water stains for spotless results, even when you’re ironing at low temperatures.
