It might look like it’s upside down when it’s up, but the inverted design of our nifty Lift-Up Airer makes it much easier to load than a standard concertina airer. And talking of easy, you can put it up in seconds using only one hand – in fact, we were so impressed when we were shown how easy it was, we all had a go trying the super-smooth mechanism.
Easy-up…
It couldn’t be simpler to put up: just place the folded airer flat on the floor, take hold of the soft-grip handle and gently pull it up until both the safety locks click into place. It’s now ready to hold your laundry load on its sturdy stainless steel rungs with no danger of collapse.
… and down
Once your clothes have dried, collapsing it is a doddle too. Hold the handle with one hand while you release the first locking bar, then release the second and carefully lower the airer until it’s almost flat.
Easy-load design
By simply inverting the rungs to resemble an A rather than a V, there’s no need to awkwardly reach over and down to load the airer with your washing.
Collapses flat for space-saving storage
Once collapsed, the Lift-Up Airer is only 7cm deep, so it can be stored down the side of your washing machine or in any narrow space.
