Dry:Soon Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer and Cover Offer Bundle

Product number: 53200

Bundle contains Mini 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer and Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer Cover.

If you don’t have a lot of space indoors to spare for drying clothes, but still want the fast, effective results delivered by a heated airer, our Dry:Soon Mini Standard 3-Tier Heated Airer fits the bill perfectly.

Small but Mighty

Getting the laundry dry much faster than using an unheated airer – and saving you from muffling the heat from radiators by draping them with damp clothes – our slimline mini version offers 13m of drying space and holds an incredibly impressive 15kg of wet laundry. With a smaller footprint and standing slightly shorter than our standard 3-tier airer, it still has six foldout shelves so you can dry a whole load, just in even less space than before, so it’s perfect for smaller homes.

Costing less than 4p an hour to run, and with thermostatically controlled bars that won’t overheat, it’s also a lot kinder to your clothes than running a tumble dryer, and more efficient than laying laundry over your radiators.

Despite its extra-small footprint, it can still hold up to 15kg of wet washing and the shelves can be positioned to suit your load – for smaller loads and confined spaces, just fold out the shelves on one side. You can dry T-shirts, socks or larger items over the rungs, lay delicate clothes flat to avoid stretching, or hang sheets and bath towels over the top without them touching the floor.

Made from robust yet lightweight aluminium, with side supports to keep it stable, it’s easy to move around and position the way you want it. Folding down to just 8cm deep, it’s easy to slot into a little gap down the side of furniture or against a wall to keep it safely out of the way when not in use – ready to spring into action throughout the winter months, or whenever the weather isn’t cooperating.

Includes Airer Cover:

Slip the clever airer cover over your Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer and you’ll soon notice that the trapped heat helps your laundry dry more quickly, so you can pack your electric airer away and have your space back – and your clothes ready to wear – even sooner.

Feature-packed Design

Thoughtfully designed for both maximum efficiency and ease of use, the front panel of the cover unzips so you can roll it up, tie it out of the way and access the shelves if you want to move your washing around. The mesh panels on the sides and top help air flow and stop the airer getting too hot and let air circulate for even faster drying, it’s made of light polycotton to let moisture evaporate and is machine washable at 30C.

Adapts Into a Storage Bag

And this cover doesn’t stop being useful when you come to pack the airer away. The zipped gusset turns it into just the right size to make a handy storage bag for your folded airer, and helps to stop it unfolding as you carry it, whether you’re sliding it under the bed or slotting it down the side of your wardrobe.

About Dry:Soon Heated Airers

When we introduced our first tower airer in 2008 we knew it was a winner but even we weren’t prepared for just how quickly it would race to the top of the bestsellers list, or how long it would stay there. Since then, we’ve not only developed our Standard range but added a Deluxe range, too, and a selection of handy accessories, in response to customer suggestions, to make them the best airers ever.

I had high hopes for this product as it does has some glowing reviews. Unfortunately I have used a few times and found that after 10 hours my washing is still wet. I also purchased the cover but it doesn’t seem to help. I ended up drying things on the radiator as it felt that the only dry parts were where the clothes made contact with the rungs. The outside rungs don’t get as hot and are not wide enough for some normal sized items .I purchased the cover as a bundle with the dryer and found the zips get caught easily and it’s just more hassle than I bargained for . Overall very disappointing

Thank you for placing your review. I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment - you may find the full size airer suits your needs better. We recommend a high spin cycle first and layering the clothes over the rails. I'm pleased we've been able to help with the full refund and return.

I decided to get this to replace our tumble dryer. It doesn’t seem to be any more efficient than my old non heated rack. I had t shirts, pjs, underwear on it for 8 hours and still not properly dry. I guess I need to keep turning things around to get heat coverage. I read somewhere else not to bother with the cover. I wish I had paid attention to that because 8 hours with cover makes me think that the cover is pointless or my expectations of drying clothes on this are too high. If anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong that would be great. At this point I wish I hadn’t wasted my money.

Thank you for placing your review. I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment. The airer is a much gentler heat that a tumble dryer which protects the fibres of your clothes. We've found overloading the airer will prevent the clothes from drying as quickly and it's important they have had a high spin cycle. All our products come with a three year guarantee so if you find it isn't the right product for you just get in touch to arrange a return.

"Not cost effective"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

This review is for an older version of this product

My heated Airer rail, is not very cost effective. As l’m all electric in my home and l put my my heated on during the night as l thought it would be cheaper to run, but that’s not the case, it cost me 70p to run from midnight to 5-30am as l have a smart meter. It was advertised as 7p a hour

support_agent A note from the team

We’re very sorry to hear it didn't meet your expectations and will email shortly to help. Please note the cost will vary on your own individual tariff and whether you have any other items plugged in overnight as well. Our buying team have provided a formula to estimate an appliance's energy use: (Wattage × Hours Used Per Day ÷ 1000 = Daily Kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumption (1 kilowatt (kW) = 1,000 Watts) Multiply this by the number of days you use the appliance during the year for the annual consumption. You can then calculate the annual cost to run an appliance by multiplying the kWh per year by your local utility's rate per kWh consumed

"Awful, don't waste your time."

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

This is a waste of time. For the amount of money you are spending it is extremely flimsy and seems poorly built. Albeit cheap to run, the rungs do warm, the time saved in hanging in cloths on a normal dryer is negligible. I would save your money, and buy a normal dryer. If I could give 0 stars I would.

support_agent A note from the team

Thank you for placing your review. I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment - the heated airer is a much gentler heat than a tumble dryer so kinder to fabrics. I'm pleased we've put things right for you with a full refund.

"Would be perfect ... but"

star star star star_border star_border

I really like the versatility of this airer which allows shelves to be raised or not. It's a perfect size for a two person household and doesn't take up too much room. But ... why oh why isn't it wide enough to air a tea towel or pillow case without having to fold them or scrunch them up. 5cm wider and it would be perfect. Would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't for the latter issue.
