Perfect for parties and picnics, this 24-Piece Disposable Wooden Cutlery Set has enough forks, knives and spoons for eight place settings around your picnic blanket or patio table and, being super-lightweight, they won’t weigh you down if you’re carrying your picnic hamper to a scenic spot before tucking in.

Stronger than the average plastic cutlery item, the knives have serrated edges and the forks and spoons are shaped just like ‘real’ cutlery, so eating a posh picnic on the lawn at Glyndebourne, or tucking into summer salads or barbecued dishes in your own back garden will be no challenge at all. They’re sturdily made from a thin sheet of birch, with the grain running lengthwise to make use of the natural strength of the grain, and each piece is decorated on one side with red candy stripes, polka dots or ric-rac waves. You’ll find that every piece is unique with the subtle natural markings of the grain and small knots showing in some pieces – it has a lot more personality than plastic picnic cutlery!

Being made of wood, they’re truly disposable, but in an eco-friendly, biodegradable way, so they’re ideal if your family’s trying to be more environmentally aware and of course, once the meal is over, if you have a wood burner, chiminea or fire-pit, you can even pop them straight in to burn as fuel.
