But when your sauvignon ends up spilled on the lawn it can’t half put a dampener on things… Our Outdoor Mini Wine Table holds a bottle and two glasses to stop them taking a tumble when you’re quaffing alfresco.

Picnic in the park, lunch at the races, drinks at an open-air concert, cosy back garden barbecue or beach dinner for two – all occasions that call for popping the cork on a bottle, but how many times have you tried to place your glass down between sips just to see it fall over? Too many? Unfold the legs of this brilliant portable table and you can say a happy goodbye to spillages and wine wastage. Made from bamboo, it has a hole to keep your bottle upright, two rests for wine glasses or the wider variety of champagne flute, and a cut-out handle so it’s easy to transport. There’s even room for a few nibbles, too. Cheese and wine, anyone? The little legs fold out easily and do a great supporting act, even if the table’s placed on a slightly uneven patch of garden.

There was A LOT of excitement when we were shown this brilliant take-along wine table so we’re sure they’ll be in demand for propping up prosecco bottles everywhere this summer.
