About our Glass-Coated Melamine
Relax and enjoy alfresco dining without worrying about whether your bowls and plates are going to make it back home (or back from the garden!) in one piece. Made from virtually unbreakable melamine which is famed for being chip resistant, and given a liquid glass coating that makes it impervious to scratches and stains, this picnicware range looks uncannily like artisan-glazed pottery, complete with slightly dimpled surface, but is so much more durable. And, being both tough and lightweight, you can easily carry it from place to place without weighing your picnic bag down.

Excellent quality, bright and cheerful. I bought the full range and it looked lovely set on the patio table, even when all the food had gone, I didn’t want to clear it away! I had lots of compliments from friends and family for making them welcome and the effort I had gone to, when really it was the plates etc that did the work for me! Really looking forward to using them again. Recommended.
I made an error when buying these bowls as didn’t check measurements. They were for serving a portion of salad but are big enough to feed salad to a full family! However, they are just the size to use for my fresh fruit bowl and contain an army of apples and oranges at the moment. Lovely and light to wash and move about. I probably would have bought for this purpose had I looked at the measurements first.
I was delighted to find this in the sale. It is a very versatile bowl.
