"Not lidded" star star star star star This is described as lidded, but there is no lid - at least mine didn't have one, but I don't think it really needs a lid. The clear plastic tray goes underneath the seed trays to hold water and for the roots to grow into. Otherwise very pleased with it, it's just what I needed, and I may order some more. I've only tried the rocket seeds so far, but I've had no problem with them. They have nearly all germinated, close to 100% I'd say.
"Not very happy" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I thought this would be quite nice to have something a bit different, and it reminded me a bit of growing water cress on blotting paper at school. I've grown salads in trays before but with soil. Well I tried two of them one partly sprouted and the other one did nothing so I have just thrown the seeds away. I won't be trying again. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear this growing kit hasn't worked well for you and we'll be in touch shortly to help.
"Disappointed" star star_border star_border star_border star_border The first issue that I had with this was that the sellotape that was used to hold the pieces together before use was nigh on impossible to remove - and when I did manage to separate the parts, there was still stickiness on the base, which i can't remove. I then followed the instructions to the letter for growing but although the seeds (mainly) germinated, they got to about 1.5 cm and then didn't get any taller - not really big enough to harvest and use. Think I'd be better off buying a pack of mustard and cress from the supermarket! support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review.
