This range is stunning. Nobody could ever tell just by looking, that these these plates/bowls are melamine. I started by buying just the dinner plates but I was so pleased that I bought more. Yes they aren't cheap but the quality and style makes the Amafi Range well worth paying a bit more. I had a party yesterday and I think every single guest admired them and asked where I had bought them.
Fantastic range , bought 14 of each as we eat al fresco most of the time . Wish Lakeland had said that they were hand wash only !!!!!! Now there is a stack of washing up after dinner parties !!!!!

Lovely design but they come with labels on the front and back of each item which are an utter pain to remove. I washed them twice then had to use "sticky stuff" remover and wash them a third time before they were fit to be used. Prospective buyers should note they cannot be used in a microwave oven or a dishwasher. The dinner plates are very shallow. I had hoped to use them in every day situations as I am tired of replacing chipped and broken crockery but these are only suitable for picnic ware as described.

I bought 8 plates. Who has an idea how to get the labels glue off. I soaked the plates in soapy water and spent a frustrating hour using a dish cloth and fingers. The paper came off but left the glue. With continual rubbing it does lift but crikey, never again. I would of returned if i could but first job was to put in soak so that was that. Other than that, the plates are lovely
