Giving 98% UV protection from the powerful rays of the sun at the beach or in your garden, these superb parasols, with three layers of silvered fabric under their polyester outers, have been designed with great attention to detail. They are lightweight, portable, easy to use and, with their additional ropes in place, secure in breezy conditions. Named in the Rapanui language of Easter Island (the ultimate seaside community) the umbrellas have tilt mechanisms, sectional aluminium poles and zipped carry bags. Plus there’s a hook system at the top of the pole to hang things away from the sand, or to hang a lantern in the evening.
Bases sold separately
Folding into 2 sections the Kau Kiri or ‘wide skin’ umbrella has a vented upper section to allow breezes to pass through and soft, draped edges for extra coverage.
