Silhouette Solar Peacock

better than photo gives credit looks nice standing on grass during day glad came with stake so does not topple over. after dusk the pattern the lights made on the grass its beautiful really spreads out , i only small lawn it was perfect for that as well as any large garden .

The peacock looks stunning on my patio. When I assembled it I could see there was a choice for the tail direction, either up or down, so I opted for a downward tail. I was surprised that as I bought the product in the late afternoon it was in all its glory lit up when darkness fell, it didn't seem to need much solar charge at all which was a pleasant surprise. There's also a removable spike attached to its foot so you have to option to anchor into the ground but as I have a patio its not suitable, but great if you can use it. I've also bought the cheeky solar duck to keep my peacock company.

We tried to buy this in the shop but were told it didn't come in a box so we ordered one online and got it in a box (how surprising)! Unfortunately the whole thing is badly designed.The anchoring stick doesn't screw fully into the hole it is meant to so the whole thing cannot be held firmly and soon topples in a wind. The head has an anchoring piece which slots into the body part but doesn't fit properly so this wobbles and falls off when the whole thing falls over!The solar light works but only gives a glow to the body of the peacock and doesn't light up the tail or head. Nice idea but..
