"Good for viewing not so good for getting tops off!"

I bought these to replace oil pourers that were china and not see through. These are perfect in that respect but the stopper connector is too short and makes it very difficult to get the top off! I have my hands covered in oil by the time I manage to get the top off and this is really annoying! If the piece of plastic was longer from the ring bit to the stopper it would be more beneficial. Has anyone tried to get the tops off when the bottle is nearly full of oil?
