These are great, perfect size and they look wonderful especially at night. However, I had to ask for a replacement on the first set I got as the tail on one was loose and repeatedly fell off, sadly the replacement is no better and just a slight knock/gust of wind makes it fall off. The easy answer was a blob of superglue!
unlike the other reviewers, I've had no problems.The tails fitted firmly into place, and are providing a feeding perch for several baby starlings in my garden. Thanks to the mirror in the body of the chickens, they light up a surprisingly large amount of space. My one niggle is that they looked larger in the picture, in reality they are about the size of an actual chicken. Placed around a bird feeding station they are an excellent whimsical garden ornament and I'm glad I brought these.
These hens look beautiful however as soon as I took one hen out of the packaging, one of the parts had already come off. I tried using superglue and although it stuck, U wasn't convinced that it would stay. Then I was assembling the second hen, the tail was very loose and a part to the tail ended up breaking! I have now received a refund from Lakeland; it's a shame they broke before I even had a chance to use them as they are very lovely! Great idea but not sturdy at all. I don't think they're worth the hassle!
