Also known as ‘knurl & spell’, Bat & Trap is a classic, traditional sport, with elements of cricket, hurling and baseball. A game for two teams, the batting side take turns to hit the trap, shooting the ball up into the air, then attempt to hit it through the posts to score a ‘run’. The fielding side then attempt to catch or throw the ball at the ‘wicket’ in front of the trap to get the batsman out. From 2 to 16 players, it’s a wonderful game for all ages.
Comprises wooden trap, bat, ball and 2 target posts. Age 3+.
