Meet the flexible garden cane connector – just add canes and you can quickly and easily build structures such as tomato frames, runner bean tripods, even cages to protect soft fruits or young seedlings. They stretch to accommodate bamboo pole diameters from 8 to 16mm gripping the canes firmly and, because they’re flexible too, any shape of structure can be built to suit.

My husband tried these and found them very good. Because they are designed to grip tight, you may find that pushing in the bamboo pole is a bit of a tussle, but it's worth it!

I got a good number of the 3 & 4 arm connectors. Given that they'll last for years, they are great value. I now have a very practical and sturdy set of vegetable frames - all netted to deter the hordes of pesky local cats! (including my own....)
