These are a delightful pair of garden ornaments and their eyes really glow in the dark. It's probably enough to deter any wandering cats, but not enough to see by. However they are very good at highlighting a step or path and make a welcome addition to my garden ornaments. Would make a lovely gift.
I loved these the minute I saw them & bought several sets but alas they don't seem to last. So far 2 of my owls have "gone out" - in fact 1 was after only a week. So I'll need to contact Lakeland and get a refund I think. It's a shame because the ones which are still currently working look lovely. I'm just slightly concerned as to how long they will last!
