Spiral supports that keep wayward plants in place. Poke into the ground to contain short, multi-stemmed plants like peonies, or slide the rod into the top of a bamboo cane to prevent tall flowers such as lilies or delphiniums from leaning. There’s no damage to plants as, rather than tying them up, you feed the stems into the spiral and turn it until everything is gathered together. Made from galvanised steel, they’re suitable for use in pots or the ground, can be positioned even if plants are already in full bloom, and help small shrubs keep their shape.

Very sturdy and easy to use. The only minor quibble I have is that it would be great if the upright came in different lengths. The instructions suggest inserting the upright into a bamboo cane for extra length, but that can look a bit odd.

Expensive but sounded a good idea. However, 2 were faulty & replaced - thank you. Disappointed as dont really 'do the job'. The rod is so thin that the spiral doesnt stay upright (unless in a v v deep pot) which obviates the whole purpose of it. I wont be using them next year and wouldnt recommend.
