This was a bit of a fiddle to put together but once assembled it works. The pigeons, crows and rooks march round it and the small birds go in and out happily. No sign of squirrel yet. I think I may need to wire the lid closed when the squirrel does find it. We'll see what the badger makes of it.
This is a great idea in principle, but it is not squirrel-proof and the birds do not get a look in.
