I bought this product as it looked like a good way of supporting tomato plants. Unfortunately it only works with canes or poles that are at least 2 cm thick, as the retaining screw is too short, and most garden canes are smaller than this. The instructions say it can be used with stakes up to 32mm in size, whereas it should say stakes between 20 and 32 mm in size. I can't say how well they work, because the 16mm stakes that I bought to use with them were too small.
