FlameDisk

I purchased this item in store. What a great innovation. We used flame disk to make a BBQ of sausages, burgers, steak and chicken breasts. Delicious flavour and we were eating 25 minutes after lighting the disk. Much better than messing around with charcoal and the like! More of the same please Lakeland.

I tried this product on a whim but found it remarkably convenient. I started cooking in a few minutes and the disk started to run out of puff after about 40 minutes. In the meantime I had cooked a BBQ for 6 people! My friends were amazed that the food had not been cooked with charcoal as it certainly tasted like it. I have seen the review about food being scorched but I think like any BBQ you need to turn and move the meat regularly onto cooler or hotter parts of the grill. I cooked chicken drumsticks, ribs, chops, burgers and sausages and also whole corns! What I find brilliant is that not only is there no charcoal mess to deal with (which i hate!) but i could also place the disk in my recycling bin after the BBQ had cooled down - ingenious product and takes the pain out of BBQ'ing - love it, will be back for more!

We started cooking within about 2 or 3 minutes of lighting the disk. We had ample time to cook 3 rounds of meat and the flavour was excellent. Great if you don't want to go through the whole charcoal/mess/time etc. Recommended.

Flames never die down enough for meat not to get scorched before it is cooked and it runs out in about 20 minutes. Expensive.
