Self-Watering Herb Pot 1 "Dry Herbs!" Mrs Fildes 20 July 2011 This review is for an older version of this product Sorry Lakeland - not many of your products disappoint me - in fact hardly any, but I'm afraid this one does. My plants have dried up even though I followed the instructions to the letter and the saucer remains full of water,(overflowing in fact, which is a nuisance) my plants have died. I would have arranged to return this, but so confident was I, that I discarded the packaging as soon as I had set it up. Looks great, but not for long, nothing looks good with dead plants in it. Sorry. A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to write your review, I'm sorry to learn of the problems you've had. I'll be in touch shortly to help. Hints & tips - When potting the herb into the inner green pockets the root ball must be pushed right down to ensure it is tight up to the underlying capillary mat (which draws up the water). Also the Capillary mat needs to be wetted before use. Water through the central gap down the plastic spine this ensures the mat retains moisture.
