Janet from our Buying Team tested these self-adhesive, glow-in-the-dark strips at home, and they've stopped her gingerly making her way down her steps on dark nights. On the edges of doorsteps they're surprisingly bright, which is great if you live in the middle of nowhere like Janet.
Helpful too for edging decking at barbecue time, lighting up stepping stones to the garage, or up the garden path. Super-bright and very adhesive, they stay put even in rain or snow.

Ideal to show a drop on my drive glow during the day as well- show visitors there is a step down.Just what I have been looking for. They aren't as flat as I wouldhave liked but do the job.
These do work, but the problem is that they don't stay stuck. I was very hopeful, that living in the middle of nowhere, they would help me get up all the steps to my house safely. 2 stars because they do reflect light but only 2 stars because they don't stay in place.

The idea of these are great and I put mine on concrete garden steps. However the height of them, and the fact they are stuck by sticky plastic on the back, means that they can get kicked off and after a few rainfalls, they easily come off. After 6 months - they are unusable. My stickers also never glowed as brightly as those shown in the photograph either. Personally I would not recommend these.

I bought two packs of these for my steps as they seemed like such a good idea to stop people from tripping in the dark. I was really careful to clean and dry the surfaces thoroughly before I stuck them down, yet several of the strips came off after only a month or two. Garden surfaces tend to be porous - concrete, brick, wood - and the strips drop off as soon as the surface gets wet. A good idea but they need to work on the product to apply a more robust and water-resistant adhesive. Don't waste your money on these unless you have a non-porous surface to stick them to, such as plastic
