Here's a super idea for keeping our feathered friends well-fed, whilst recycling your used plastic bottles at the same time. After rinsing it out, simply fill the bottle with bird seed, screw on the feeder attachment and wait for the sparrows, tits, and finches to visit. Includes hanger.
Suitable for 1 or 2 litre bottles.

These are SO good, and so easy to use. I bought two or three a few years ago and took them with me when I emigrated to Canada. I came back a couple of years ago and now have a tiny garden with enough room for at least one of these feeders, so I'll be ordering some. I just wish the squirrels didn't find the plastic perch so delicious!
Easy to fit up and what a great way to recycle those bottles. As long as you have them where the squirrels cannot reach them they are squirrel proof. Our furry friends have outwitted all our other attempts, but as this has been hung on the washing line so far so good.
I am so pleased the bottle bird feeders are back, I had a couple of them originally and they were so good, far more hygienic than a bird feeder of a different type, as you can just throw the bottle away when it is getting grubby!! Thanks so much from me and my sparrows, greenfinches, pheasants (Percy & Pheobe) et al.
Delighted to see this product back in stock. Great way of recycling bottles and also very good for hygiene maintenance - the base is quick and easy to wash and the bottle can just be changed. I usually replace the plastic hanger with a loop of garden wire which is more secure and also easier to hook over a bigger/higher branch. Might be good if someone came up with a metal base to screw on as a deterrent to the squirrels ....

Great idea to reuse plastic drinks bottles and feed our birds. Needs to be hung far away from jumping off spots or the squirrels will have a field day!
