"No problem!"

This review is for an older version of this product

I have just taken delivery of mini bed ,support frame and cover, absolutely delighted with the whole package! Well made, sturdy and very easy to assemble. No problems whatsoever getting the cover on the frame. I took heed of what previous reviewers said and took my time,it helps to lay frame flat at first(not being vertically challenged in height!) Very much looking forward to growing my first crops this summer.

"Great product shame about bracket connectors"

star star star star_border star_border

Bought this product last year and it did a great job, loads of perfect tomatos and very sturdy but the thing that lets it down is the 2 PLASTIC T connectors that hold the frame together at the top. They simply are not strong enough as I found out when I took it down for winter. One of the T connectors was already broken presumably from weight of cover / winds over the summer. I have glued my connectors back together but time will tell if they hold (more likely not). Lakeland - Change these connectors for stronger plastic or even better metal ones!

"Great Protection for Delicate Crops"

star star star star star

Many of the comments here refer to the design problem with the clips on the frame however the cover is an absolute godsend. Provides essential protection for delicate plants. You need to take care when fitting the cover particularly the mesh vents at the side which can get caught and torn. No problems with the stability of this cover it fits like a glove beyond the bottom of the raised bed and has metal eyes where the metal pegs go into the ground. Even through some stormy winds the cover never moved. Highly recommended.

"Does The Job"

Laid it all out, assembled it all together very easily. Plastic clips worked perfectly, cover slid over very nicely staked it down with some old tent pegs. More tomatoes than we could easily eat. Bought 2 more for peppers and cucumbers this year

"Its pretty good but for one major thing"

star star star_border star_border star_border

I received this today and ordered it along with the liner and the cover. It is simple to put together - but two things you need to know. 1. There is no base so you will need the liner - which fits perfectly - and is a little like the bags that large amounts of soil/sand are delivered. 2. the two T joints that attached the poles at the top of the frame are flimsy plastic and both snapped when I tried to put the cover over it. Lakeland were great and offered me partial refund as I did not want to send the whole thing back - but I did d purchase some 10mm/120mm pre-cut studs from (metal headless screws in essence) and jammed these between the two uprights with a little tape to hold the crossbar. Shame really if the T joints had been metal would not have had to do this.
