Neopeat

Product number: 50968

Maximise the flower power in your garden. Neopeat is a compressed, organic, peat-free growing medium which acts as a soil substitute or conditioner. It retains water like a sponge; provides vital minerals and nutrients; enhances aeration; and encourages strong, healthy root systems for bigger, better yields.

Just add water and stir Neopeat until it's light and fluffy, then fill hanging baskets and planters, or mix with topsoil for boosting your flowerbeds. Expands to make 65-70 litres.

"Great product"

star star star star star

I was finding it difficult to carry heavy bags of compost through the house to my garden, so tried Neopeat because of its lighter weight, compactness and, most important, reliable delivery to my door. I've been using this excellent product ever since, growing all my vegetables from seed or plug plant. The results have been consistently good.

"Useful stuff"

Really does hold the water once wet. Used it for my vegetable growing last year in some containers - found it best when mixed with topsoil or compost though as it is quite springy stuff, and many of the veggies preferred firmer soil. Have mixed it further into the raised beds this year too as a soil improver.

Been using this for 2 years and my veg plot yield has doubled. Easy to carry.

"Brilliant for use on clay soil"

I bought this originally because I have bad back problems and this was easy to transport to my allotment. Its fibrous quality has made my extremely heavy London soil much easier to dig; it's organic; it has definitely suppressed a great deal of weed growth and is very easy to use. I will be ordering more for next year.

Plants appear to be healthier and it holds the water in dry spells plus it also appears to suppress the weeds.
