Mini Grow Bed & Crop Support Frame

I had one of these last year and managed to grow 5 tomato plants in it (with optional plastic cover) and now have another two. The depth of the planter is perfect as it allows the plants to create a deep root system. The main problem with this item is the plastic connectors supplied to fix the top of the frame. These are not fit for purpose and should be metal. They break as soon as you look at them, one when putting together the other when fitting the cover. I have had to improvise and use copper plumbers T junctions and gaffa tape to hold the three sections together.

I was very pleased with the quality of this Grow Bed when I assembled it. If you do not want the Support Frame tho' it's difficult to know what to do with the loops at each corner of the liner. I made the mistake of trying to tuck them into the corner pieces of the Grow Bed & snapped a couple of them. All in all a good product that should last a few years.

I had hoped when I purchased this item along with the liner & cover that the unit would last me more than one summer. However, the plastic clips that hold the frame together have snapped (for the second time) this time when I was not around to remedy the problem and the metal frame has torn through the plastic cover that I purchased. Making all but the base unusable in future. I would suggest that the manufacturers replace the plastic T joint with something a lot more hard wearing. It looks like I will be buying something different next spring.

Bought this last year in anticipation of using this year, so has been in its original packaging stored safely away. Last weekend came to erect the frame and put the cover over it I found it quite difficult & flimsy. Firstly broke the plastic connectors' on the frame, tried to mend them, and then put a pole through the cover! Really unhappy & don't even think it is worth trying to repair. On the whole in my opinion a shoddy product.

We're very pleased with this. We have a patio so bought the liner as well, and the support frame. The veggies look good in the corner and we're looking forward to home grown veg - pests permitting!
