The Thingamadig

2 years ago I bought one at the Lakeland store in Windermere. I used it all the time until it got lost. I looked everywhere but I probably threw it away when I emptied some pots. I missed it a lot since, so now I'm ordering it agains, plus 5 more to give away as presents. I live in The Netherland and have never seen this tool available here. I don't have a garden, but a balcony with potplants and it works so well to pot plants or remove them out of the pots.

I have come back to purchase another thingamadig because my husband inadvertently ruined mine trying to use it as a trowel for spreading concrete - possibly the only use that could do this wonderful piece of kit in. I cannot garden without it! I have cut through roots, prised (rather large!) rocks out of the soil, it makes weeding in my "London clay" soil an absolute pleasure. It is absolutely an essential tool for gardeners, you will not regret buying this!

Was lucky to pick up one a few years ago in the Sale and couldn't believe how useful it is. I've tried twice since then to get some for my friends but they have been sold out so - order now or they will be gone!! I only have pots on a patio but I wonder how I ever managed without this.

Wow, brilliant, love my thingamadig and when they are available again (hope they come back) I'll be sure to order for fellow gardeners in the family. Great idea, so easy to use and not too heavy.

Such a simple looking piece of kit yet so useful! Great for digging holes for planting,scooping compost,gravel etc from bags,filling pots,cutting roots,dividing,the list is endless..Can't imagine what I did without it. Very comfortable to use. It is a definate must for any gardeners toolkit! I shall be buying more for gardening friends and relatives. First class product.
