I bought these about 3 years ago and they are still on my dining room table and chairs. They stuck immediately and have never fallen off or come loose. Unless the product has been changed in the last few years, I would recommend these. I have used them on my table and chairs and constantly move my furniture around.
I don't get some reviewers saying these buttons keep falling off. I strongly disagree, mine stick just perfectly to the surface. I have used many kinds of similar buttons in the past and the last ones from a Swedish furniture store were ok for some time, but quite thin and kept wearing off. I have had these for only a couple of weeks but they are thicker and I have a feeling they will last for ages. And the cut your own pad is an excellent idea as well!
We wish we had found these felt pads years ago. Chairs glide noiselessly over the vinyl and do not leave marks. We have only had them a few weeks, but are very pleased and optimistic that there will be no dents from the table legs in our new flooring.
I bought a pack of these and have stuck them on my table and chairs. I can now pull the chairs out silently without them jarring on the laminate. I have also used them on my kitchen stools on a slate floor with success. However, please would you stock the large sheets separately as I've had to buy a couple more packets just for these for my larger pieces of furniture and now have loads of the small circles left over!!

I stuck these on our dining room chairs before Christmas and the chairs now glide silently over the wooden floor. No problem so far with them falling off. I would second the request for a separate item of the big sheet, as that's what I used to cut out very small circles for our chair legs. (It was tough going, so I'm sure they'll last for years!)
