If your kitchen sink is draining suspiciously slow, or there’s a questionable whiff coming from the plughole, it’s time to call in the professionals. But don’t reach for the phone just yet, Zep’s Liquid Heat Drain Unblocker should be your first port of call.

The powerful industrial-grade formula melts away heavy-duty blockages, clearing build up of food, fat and grease, and is safe to use in kitchen drains and household plastic pipes. Simply pour half of the bottle down the plughole and leave to work for at least an hour – but for the most stubborn of blockages, it’s best to leave it overnight. Once the blockage has cleared, flush through with hot water and your pipes will be flowing freely again.

Please note: Not suitable for use in septic tanks, toilets or garbage disposals.

Always wear gloves when using this product. Do not use a plunger afterwards as the product may still be present if the blockage has not cleared. Avoid prolonged contact with taps, plugs, sinks, baths, showers, trims and countertops to prevent damage. Ensure that materials are compatible with caustic liquid. Avoid delicate metals such as aluminium. Avoid contact with composite sinks. Do not use with acid products or mix with any other chemicals.
