Lakeland Window Water Eater

Product number: 46673

This super-absorbent, snake-like Window Water Eater lies waiting on the windowsill, poised to guzzle up excess water before it causes damage to your wood and paintwork.

Holds up to 1 litre of water

Filled with hundreds of mini absorbent beads for holding moisture, this slim, elongated ‘cushion' is capable of sucking up and locking in a full litre of water before it reaches its capacity. Super simple in the way that it works and modest in appearance, this effective moisture absorber is a blessing for those dealing with condensation. It also catches 'seepage' that can appear underneath windows and doors.

Air dry

Once it's absorbed it's full 1-litre capacity of water, simply hang it up on the washing line or in an airing cupboard to air-dry it to get it back to its former state, ready to absorb again in no time at all.

"Useless"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

So glad I only purchased one as a trial. I followed the instructions and woke up to find the condensation on my window just as bad as before. Really disappointed with it. I couldn't return it because I'd recycled the box and misplaced the receipt.

"They don't work"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I bought 3 of these for each of our bedrooms. I followed the instructions but they do not work and the water just sits underneath them and on the windows. It's a shame as I really thought they would help the condensation but they don't. I will have to try something else.

We're sorry they didn't work well for you. We can advise that the hold a litre of water before they need to be dried out ready to use again.

"Disappointed"

star star star_border star_border star_border

I bought 2 of these, put one in the bathroom and one in bedroom. The bathroom gets condensation all the time due to showers, so thought this would be ideal but it made no difference at all. I gave it benefit of doubt being the bathroom. Disappointed after our first cold weather to find it made no difference in the bedroom either. I am sure these might work in some places or Lakeland wouldn't sell them but I found them useless. I order a dehumidifier instead.

We're sorry this didn't work well. We can advise they hold a litre of water before they need to be dried out ready to use again. We trust the dehumidifier is working better for you.

"Not long enough"

star star star star_border star_border

I bought 6 of these for my bedroom windows which suffer from condensation. I thought I could use 3 and then dry them whilst using the other 3.In the description it states these are approximately 90cm length. When I measured mine they are 65cm which is quite a difference. I might now have to use 2 per window instead. I’ve not tried them yet so I don’t know how well they work. Hopefully 1 per window will be enough. I have now had these in place for several weeks and they do not work. Mine aren’t filled with beads but it feels like polyester wadding. They do not absorb any moisture. Disappointed.
