Glass and mirrors just look (and work) better when they’re not covered in streaks and smears, but if you’re bothered by all the plastic bottles you get through keeping them sparkling clean, Neat have the solution. And it’s rather, well, neat.

Their Anti Bac Glass & Mirror Cleaner not only cleans to a shine. It leaves behind a lovely fresh fragrance, and its reusable bottle and powerful concentrate help you to reduce your plastic use too.

What you get

• 500ml reusable aluminium spray bottle – lightweight and durable, it comes with a reusable spray nozzle, and a silicone base that gives it extra protection if you put it down a bit too hard, and can be removed for easy cleaning.
• 30ml concentrated refill – in a lovely light, clean Yuzu Tea fragrance, it comes in a glass bottle which can go straight into your recycling.

Effective antibacterial formula

Neat only use plant-based, biodegradable ingredients that are vegan-friendly and aren’t tested on animals, but still kill 99.9% of bacteria (sorry, germs). And the fragrance means they smell lovely too.

How it works

Fill the rather attractive aluminium bottle with 470ml of tap water. Carefully pour in the 30ml refill. Secure the spray nozzle on top, give it a good shake and you’re ready to go.

All the cleaning power, no wasted water

Did you know that a typical cleaning product is 90% water? By removing the water and only selling the cleaning concentrate, Neat reckon that – if we all swapped our conventional large bottles of cleaner for their alternatives – we could save 20,238 tonnes (that’s the weight of 4,000 elephants) of plastic waste and 522 million litres of water (enough to fill 208 Olympic swimming pools) every year. But we don’t need to check anything to know they’re right that selling concentrated solutions means fewer trucks on the road and less plastic waste. Especially if you’re using no single-use plastic at all.

Plastic-free, recyclable packaging

Neat don’t use any single-use plastic in their products. The only plastic part is the reusable spray nozzle – everything else is made from recyclable aluminium, glass or silicone, and the packaging is plastic-free too, so you can just pop it in your paper and card recycling. And when your cleaning bottle is empty, you can buy another concentrate to pop in and start all over again – and recycle that little glass bottle too.
