Taps come in all shapes and sizes, so it makes sense that tap descalers should too… We’ve sold our bestselling Limey for years, but it works best on taps that curve downwards, rather than those horizontal ones that don’t have a pronounced spout. That’s where the Limey XS comes in. Designed to descale horizontal taps, it’s easy to fit and leaves spouts gleaming and clog-free.

How it works

It caters for two different tap sizes, so you just pick the one that fits over your spout and use the little strap to hold it in place, then pour in your limescale remover. In around 15 minutes this little blue wonder will have worked its magic, leaving your tap limescale free.

Which taps it fits

Made from sturdy silicone, so it’s easy to rinse and clean afterwards, it fits taps with a diameter of 20-24mm, with the adjustable strap helping to hold it in place – making it compatible with almost all common flat taps. And you can use the strap to hook it round the top of your bottle of descaler, so they’re always together and easy to find when you need them.
