Eco-friendly formula
Contained in a recyclable cardboard tube, the tough-on-stains-yet-kind-to-the-environment powder is chlorine, phosphate and ammonia free as well as vegan friendly and biodegradable.][To keep your whites white and give stains the elbow, simply mix the powder into warm water and soak your laundry before washing, or you can add some powder straight to your washing machine for extra cleaning power. You can also use it as a general whitener or as a targeted stain remover too.

It gets out pasta stains from my kids nursery t-shirts. No bigger test than that! Plus I’ve seen my whites getting generally whiter as I put a scoop in each white load
Tried this product for the first time last month, and have used several times now. Was not sure what to expect after reading some reviews, but has worked well for me, removes stubborn stains and so far very impressed, will be buying again. Great eco brand also.
Having moved house and a new septic tank I was told to go easy on the cleaning products and hence I tried this as an alternative to my long time love of the popular high street whitener. To be honest it is expensive but I have found in comparison to other well known eco brand whiteners that this one really does work and hence with no other non toxic choice I give it a 4 star. It works but wow it’s expensive to be eco sometimes.
Yes, I have only given a rating of 4 stars as, although I love the product, I find it very difficult to tip out the amount of "granules" required. I have taken to using a tablespoon holding the similar amount I used to put into the paper cup provided. The cup is a waste of time as you need a long handle to reach the product inside. It is also very difficult to prize the metal lid off the cardboard container without the granules spreading everywhere. However, I shall purchase more, but keep the old container with the now loosened lid.
I soaked and also added to the wash and was unfortunately disappointed with the stain removing & whitening. Expensive and box only half full. I'm keen to buy eco products, but will not be buying this again.
