How it works
Specially formulated with a unique combination of biodegradable surfactants, it attacks and kills off moss, algae, mould and lichen, preventing them growing back for up to a year – the effects might not be immediate, but they certainly last! It can be used on any outside surface exposed to rainfall, including paths, patios, decking, garden furniture, conservatories, greenhouses, the sides of houses, fences, UPVC windows, roofs, and even caravans or your car’s soft top. Once applied, the formula reactivates each time it rains, helping to wash away the moss, mould, lichen and algae without damaging the surface, with the wind and rain gently carrying the decomposing material away each time.
No elbow grease required
There’s no need for power-washing or scrubbing and, once your hosepipe is attached to the bottle, it automatically mixes the correct ratio of formula to water, regardless of your water pressure. The 2 litre bottle has a wide fan nozzle which allows you to evenly cover the ground surfaces – up to 200m² in just 10 minutes – and a specially designed sniper nozzle which reaches up to 8 metres high, so that pesky moss has nowhere to hide, even in places you’d normally need a ladder to reach.

I bought this after using the regular Wet and Forget for my patio and pots in a previous house. This time I needed the long length spray to get rid of the moss on my garage roof. It was really thick but after a few weeks it has almost disappeared. We had to use a brush to help it along - a bit laborious but It was really thick. I’m buying another bottle to attack other things in the garden.
So impressed I have bought additional bottle for my parents garden & one ready for next year! Easy to use, attach your house pipe & off you go. I sprayed my 3 patio areas within 10 minutes. I have a health condition that affects my mobility & can’t scrub things or bend so this product is ideal for those who have reduced energy / reduced mobility. Quickly removes the algae slime, my slabs were a grey / green colour all over, within days they were back to their natural creamy tones. The black spot is getting lighter, a month after application you can really see that the black spots are reducing
Unfortunately, after what seemed like promising results in the first couple of weeks, the moss and algae came back as before within two months. Rain did not reactivate the product. We carefully followed the instructions but the result has been very disappointing.
