I bought this to use in conjunction with two recycling bins but I am not using it as a compost caddy, rather as a general bin in my kitchen. I think it's great! I can stand it on the draining board as I do the general clean up of the kitchen. A carrier bag sized bag will line it. It stacks on top of my recycling bins. Just the job!
Just love this compost bin, the perfect size for under my sink. I have another one in my shopping basket for next order.
I am pleased with this as it goes with the Rotho recycling bins. It has a good carrying capacity and sturdy handles. My only problem is with the hinged lid as I would have preferred the design to be as the recycling bins with no hinge. The hinge seems to be a weak point and has already become detached so that eventually it could break altogether. Not the end of the world as the lid would still function but it's my opinion and so 4 stars not 5.
A great size for popping under the sink. The handle feels quite flimsy but, hopefully, it will prove to be durable.
This compost caddy looks great and doesn’t take up too much counter space. Sadly it doesn’t perform well. It is not sufficiently robust. The lid was broken when the first one arrived. Lakeland quickly replaced it. The second one has lasted about a month and the lid has cracked. A product like this needs to be more robust to be fit for purpose.
We're sorry the lid cracked. We have other compost caddies which might be more suitable.
