The stay-open flip-up lid makes this caddy easy to fill, there’s a flexible handle for taking it to the heap, and it’s made from easy-clean polypropylene, so it only needs a quick rinse or wipe over once it’s emptied. Unfortunately I am disappointed with this product. Because the lid doesn’t stay upright when in use, I find it topples over if not enough waste in it to compensate. It also is not easy to clean out as the lid has a few crevices in it for potato peeling juices (when peeling potatoes) to congregate in.

I use this caddy every day, together with the caddy bags. All vegetable waste is collected in the caddy and carried, by it's very handy handle, to my allotment. Lid fits securely and keeps in all the veggie smells. Small enough to be discreet but large enough to carry quite a lot of waste. As we are vegetarian we do generate a lot of vegetable trimmings. Nice grey colour goes well in my kitchen. Highly recommended.
