Lakeland Clever Portable Washing Up Bowl with Knife Drainer

I have seen other bowls similar to this but they were too big for my small sink. The knife drainer has so many uses and the handles make it easier to lift out with my arthritic hands. The only downside is the rubber seal under the plug frequently comes loose so the plug doesn't seal properly. Very irritating! Lakeland you need to get this sorted as clearly there is a design fault of some kind. Looks like I'll have to stick it down so the seal works properly. For that reason I can only give 4 stars

I purchased this bowl for the additional compartment as we have cutlery that can’t go in our dishwasher so it’s a perfect place to store it before washing it. I remove the plug to drain the water and found the little rubber seal would come loose so the bowl leaked. Now i’ve stuck it the seal works brilliantly and I love this bowl. There are so many uses for the knife drainer!

Fits into my sink with a bit of space, easy to empty if not over filled just turn the plug but I've had the pink washer fall out when I've being emptying bit's into the sink have to watch this as don't want to lose it down the sink. The rubber handles are strong but a bit lose & can come off if not careful when tipping out water..

Strangely, the plug seal O-ring became mis-shapen (larger) over not a great length of time and it then didn't fit into the recess, meaning the plug seal didn't then work. I contacted Lakeland (Elspeth - thank you!) and was sent a couple of replacement O-ring seals. These appear to be made of different (improved?) material (they are red rather than my white original) and so far, have remedied the problem. Thank you for sorting this Lakeland and good customer service in doing so.
