Possibly the poshest ever drinking game, Prosecco Pong is an up-market version of Beer Pong, a bubbly party game that's the perfect entertainment for grown-ups who are not so keen on the hoppy taste of beer but don’t want to be left out of the fun – and of course, the fizz you use to fill the plastic glasses doesn’t have to be Prosecco – no matter what you’re celebrating, your favourite fizz will be perfect to charge the dozen wide-topped plastic champagne saucers.
Basic Rules of Prosecco Pong
Split into teams or play one on one – the ‘teams’ stand at each end of a table with the 12 fizz-filled plastic glasses arranged in the centre and take turns trying to throw a pink ping pong ball into one of the opposition’s glasses. If a ball goes in, your opponent has to drink the prosecco from that glass. And, of course, there are bound to be regional and family variations to the rules, so we’ll leave the details up to you and your guests… Please remember to drink responsibly!
