Designed in the UK but produced in China. This is a nice mug and I would have thought it could have been produced in this country as it is not cheap. I thought the slogan was ideal to cheer up my granddaughter but I would not have bought it if I had known it had to be washed by hand - not something my granddaughter is likely to adhere to although she did appreciate it. I will pay more attention to the detail in future
