Unravel The Santa Christmas Game

Purchased as a 'table present' for one of the grand kids, the 'Unraveling Santa Claus Game' took on a singular experience as the delighted recipient discovered it was going to be more fun to peel away the layers all by himself rather than involve anyone else ! A little while later after he had emerged from unraveling loads and loads of 'streamer' type winding paper together with several 'Xmas cracker' style joke notes/trinkets which had been distributed around the portly Santa Claus body, a beaming little face declared 'He had Won' !

The kids love taking it in turns to unravel each day, a nice addition to the advent calendar event.

Unravelling the Santa was good fun and the children particularly enjoyed it but if the crepe paper wrapping accidentally gets wet it stains a bright red. Tablecloth and oak table have got stained so hoping it will come out

While we enjoyed the unravelling with the jokes, trinkets etc, the centre was an anti climax- a bundle of white tissue that contained.... Absolutely nothing! We had 'engineered' the unwrapping so that the only child in the family got the prize in the centre ( we have had similar products in the past) so it was a bit disappointing to get nothing at the end.Don't know if there was supposed to be anything in the middle or not? The description suggested there should have been. We will not bother next year.
