Salad Dressing Shaker Jar 500ml

I love this and is absolutely perfect for the current weather.

A quirky looking gizmo that looks fine on display, as opposed to a plastic version that I would shove in the cupboard out of sight. I can’t lose the recipes either, which means it gets used often. Love it.

This is a nice robust jar with a good handle. The recipes on the side are useful but the problem is with the lid. It is difficult to screw on and then, more importantly, it does not make a waterproof seal. The jar is designed for shaking but then the oil and vinegar escape from the lid, which is very messy.

I was delighted to have found this jar, amazed to discover that somebody had actually made it so much easier to make a dressing without reference to books or Google! The idea is brilliant. The jar is sturdy. I didn't miss a beat - I saw, I wanted, I bought. I have had the jar for around three months. The lid has gone rusty inside (unlike the lids of the average cleaned-out sauce jars I usually use) and, despite careful hand washing, some parts of the recipes have already rubbed off! Unfortunately I no longer have the receipt or it would be returned!

Bought this in January and at first I thought it was a great idea, even though the lid was of very poor quality and leaked. Tried one salad dressing recipe very successfully, but when I put it in the dishwasher in preparation for trying another, the writing came off the sides, rendering it pretty useless. Best avoided.
