"Fiddly, but don't give up!"

star star star star_border star_border

I agree with your previous reviewers that some instructions would be very useful. Yes, this is a very fiddly product, but I have found a solution... ...I use wide (5cm) sticky tape to hold the letters in place, before inverting the plate to insert into the silicone ring. Although not ideal, this works well enough to use the stamp. A bit of inventiveness is necessary, but it would be a shame not to be able to use the stamp. Perhaps the design needs to be modified?

"very frustrating"

star star star_border star_border star_border

as previous review pointed out-what a frustrating tool! no instructions how to assemble. I have taken it apart but then struggled badly to assemble. to tart with i put the disc in the silicone first but it was impossible to fit it all onto the wooden base. l then started woth9 the silicone ring back on the wooden part and somehow managed to put the disc in.. countless times the letters fell out or turned wrong way!! the final effect was good but im not sure I'll have the patience to use this product again. it wid be a massive improvement if the letters weren't so wobbly and stayed in the holes

"Not worth the effort"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I bought this cookie stamp approximate 3 months ago and used it for the first time today. What a nightmare!! There are no instruction on how to load the letters and I eventually found out how to peel off the silicon ring. The letters are very fiddly and almost impossible to load without some of them falling out before the word you want to make is finished. It took me around 30 minutes to load the stamp with 2 short words. The actual impression is not bad but it really isn't worth the fiasco to get there. I'm assuming that this product is not made by Lakeland. Very disappointing.

Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to speak to me on the phone, I'm sorry that you'd found it so fiddly to use. You're quite right you need to remove the silicone collar then place in your letters as required. (make sure the letters are in the correct order before stamping).

"So disappointed"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I've attempted for 45 minutes to assemble the cookie stamp. It's impossible and of course there are no instructions to enable me to know the best way to try. A complete waste of money

"Very disappointing"

I wish I had read the earlier reviews before buying. I bought it to make Christmas cookies so tried it for the first time yesterday. It is impossible to get the letters to stay in the silicone ring which defeats the whole purpose.
